I absolutely adore creating beautiful dramatic play spaces for the children I teach and have done so for the past 5 years. Dramatic play is so important for young children as it involves children taking on roles of adults who are meaningful in their lives. When you develop a child’s skill at dramatic play, that child’s development will be enhanced in many other areas as well. This includes their emotional, social and cognitive development. When I see children engrossed in pretend play, it sparks a sense of joy in me hence, my passion to share my resources with other educators.
During my time as an early childhood teacher, I have built up a big collection of resources that I want to share with other educators to make planning for dramatic play easier.
